Top 50 Books to Read Next List

This is my reading list. What I’ve read, what I’m reading, what I’m going to read next. As an English major, I feel that it my sworn duty to at least attempt to be well read. My goal is to read interesting, entertaining, meaningful books by gifted authors and expand my mind.

It’s mostly literary fiction, but I’ll mix in the occasional bio or historical whatever. I’m not adverse to reading books written by white American men, but I’ll also read female authors. I’ll even read a book written by a non-white, non-American, just to keep those comparative lit snobs off my back.

Got any suggestions? Leave them in the comments section below. I occasionally put pithy reviews on my Goodreads.com account. Believe it or not, but 65 people from 18 countries have liked my Van Gogh book review on Goodreads.

Countries include Australia, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, India, Ireland, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, United Arab Emirates, United States
