My Review | The Happiness Project
And because it was, it definitely felt like a blog project that was turned into a book, including entries from readers from the blog giving their ideas on certain solutions. For whatever reason that bothered me. Probably because I’m jaded, but I started to feel like the book was a good marketing hook that caught on versus a good book. My Review | The Shadow of the Wind
My new favorite book. It is hard to sum up the plot. But basically it’s about a boy and a book from at the Cemetery of Forgotten Books and it’s about the boy’s life and the author of the book’s life. There is loads of mysterious intrigue, amazingly awesome and funny characters, romance, lost romance, side trips, twists and turns, fantasy, mystery, a dude with no face, scary bad guys, a scary mansion, tension, and an historical Barcelona backdrop. I loved every minute of this adventure. Continue reading
